BIO

Noah Cierzan full headshot.JPG

Ever since I was a kid, sports have always been a major part of my life, and that has only become more true as I've developed my skills as a broadcaster. It's a journey that started in Minneapolis, where I grew up, following the exciting and oftentimes tragic stories brought upon by Minnesota sports and its heartbreak.

With an itch for storytelling, I moved to Syracuse to learn the tools of the trade at the S.I Newhouse School of Public Communications before making my way to Burlington, Vermont. There, I covered everything from Olympic athletes to the vibrant high school and collegiate athletics scene in the Green Mountains during my time with WPTZ.

Now, I've embraced a new journey in the bluegrass as a member of the sports team at WLEX. Lexington, Kentucky, is home to the winningest collegiate basketball program of all-time, and an ever-exciting high school hoops scene. Combine that with some of the best horse racing in the world, and it's the breeding grounds for countless great stories to pursue.

When I'm not on the sidelines, I enjoy hitting the links and carrying on my culinary passions through my annual tradition, Soup Sunday.
